Pollutant Removal Performance of a Multistage A/O Process in a Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of Yixing City
1.Introduction Multistage A/O process was characterized by outstanding removal efficiency towards organic matter,nitrogen,phosphorus and brilliant ability to resist load shock.Additionally,its influent and operation mode can be flexibly switched to adapt the variation of water quality and environmental conditions.It has been widely used for upgrading and reconstruction of wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs) in China.Pollutant removal and detoxicity performance of a multistage A/O process was studied in a WWTP of Yixing city.
