Source apportionment of PM2.5 during pre-winter in Beijing: Evaluation of mitigation measures
1.Introduction Numerous studies have been carried out in the last decade to characterize the composition, sources, physicochemical properties, and evolution processes of PM2.5 in Beijing. The dominated part in PM2.5 is secondary organic aerosols (SOA) and secondary inorganic aerosols (SIA),which have attracted great attention due to their abundance in the atmosphere, the complex formation mechanism involved, and their multiple environmental effects especially on visibility degradation inBeijing.
