1.Introduction Sulfate-rich and metal-rich wastewaters produced in many industrial processes (e.g.,mining and metal processing) are extremely harmful to the environment1.However,it can be a huge challenge to dispose these wastewaters due to low pH value as well as the shortage of organic matter.
