The stimulative effect of plant root on nitrogen removal microbe in constructed wetlands
1.Introduction Constructed wetlands (CWs) are man-made systems, which were designed with specific modified characteristics to improve wastewater treatment capacity (Kadlec and Wallace 2008).With their cheaper cost and lower energy consumption than other treatments,CWs have been generalized all over the world (Vymazal 2010),in which can be removed by plants and periphyton uptake andmicrobial processes (Day et al.2003;OGeen et al.2010).
