Innovation and Practice of Filter Technology in Steel Castings
The main reasons affecting the filter technology in the steel cast applications have been investigated in this article.For the cost and security of the filter technology, the innovative work has been carried out to invent the new filter technology, and lv de jin and jin lv lai have been produced.Direct to different foundry processes, a more complete product and technology solution program have been proposed, which had been tested in many casting steel manufacturers.It is proved that the program can effectively eliminate the castings slag inclusion defects; reduce casting scrap rate and welding rate.In this case, the overall cost has been reduced and the casting quality has been improved.Especially, the cost of filtration castings has been reduced significantly.Usually, the filter costs of normal sand casting and precision-investment casting are less than or equal to 500RMB/t and 800RMB/t respectively.
