Investigation on Maintenance Mode Decision Method Based on the Analysis of Service Records
Objective: To provide decision-making reference for selecting the maintenance mode by analyzing the service records of a newly introduced CLINAC.Methods: Before analyzing the service records of the CLINAC,specific data is extracted which including service date,fault phenomenon,repair process,used parts,repair time and downtime.Each service record is classified into four categories,which including fault of multi-leaf collimator (MLC),potentiometer,accelerator and OBI.MLC and potentiometer fault is normal fault.And its easy to repair in the case of adequate and timely parts supply.Calculate the fault quantity,used parts,service time and downtime of all kinds of fault.Results: MLC fault and potentiometer fault accounts for61.18% of the total quantity,and 55.85% of the total service time.Accelerator fault accounts for 36.47% and41.29% respectively.OBI fault accounts for 2.35% and2.86% respectively.The ratio of conventional fault is relatively high.Therefore,service by hospital engineers is feasible.Its premise is adequate and timely parts supply.Conclusion: ① To control the spare parts cost and labor costs of paid service,its a better way to agree on related terms in the equipment purchase contract; ② The patient number is also the key factor,which is also indirectly expressed in the service records; ③ Other related issues are also discussed in the analysis of service records.
