Review and reflection on development of Chinese mine surveying discipline as its establishment for 60 years
The majors of mine surveying was firstly set up for undergraduate students in 1953 in China, owning a history of more than 60 years.With the change of times and social progress, mine surveying has become an important subject of education and an indispensable research field of science and technology.It plays a very significant role for engineering foundation scientific status of international and national engineering construction.The process to establish the education system of mine surveying was reviewed in this paper.Formation process of regulation systems and development of surveying instrument for mine surveying and were summarized.Research progress of subsidence and protection, land reclamation and environmental repair etc.was introduced.
