Surveying education in Uzbekistan: Current status and prospects
Based on the systematic review of the development of the coal industry and mine surveying education of Uzbekistan, some problems as the following need to be strengthened in the future that linking theory with practice should be paid more attention in the process of teaching; the teaching and research facilities should be updated continuously; and the teachers construction and academic exchanges should be strengthened.History and development of surveying taking into account of the mineral resource and mining are given in this article for Uzbekistan higher education.Geological staffing and mining industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and former SU is described.Establishment and development of Uzbek high school surveying in Tashkent State Technical University and also its founders, traditions are main focus of this work.
