Surface dynamic deformation law in shallow coal seams
High-intensive exploitation of shallow coal seams often leads to serious mining subsidence disasters. This paper analyzes dynamic characteristics of surface movement based on continuous monitoring of surface movement of working face 9102 at small time scale in Maying Coal Mine during the full-mechanized caving mining.Study results indicate that: (1) the displacement monitoring precision of surface points can be improved greatly by conducting the difference of the monitoring points and check points to calculate surface point coordinates changes.TCA2003 deformation monitoring is carried out when the horizontal distance is within 200 m.The height accuracy and plane precision can be controlled within ±1 mm; (2) The discontinuity of surface subsidence in shallow coal seam mining is evident, and the damages are mainly characterized by ground fissures and sidestepped subsidence;(3) The subsidence of surface points is of leaps all the time in shallow coal seam mining.Subsidence velocity has characteristics of negative values that focus on a limited period with advanced effect. The negative value characteristics gradually become indistinct with the cumulative impacts of the subsequent mining influence. Thus the subsidence is prominent in later process; (4) In order to obtain the leaping and negative value characteristics of surface subsidence in shallow coal seam mining, the deformation monitoring cycle should be controlled within 1hour; (5) The subsidence process of surface points has spatial locality, and ground fissures are usually the boundaries of different space regions. The research results have practical value in mining subsidence disaster evaluation and land recycle in shallow coal seams in Western China.
