Parameters analysis of ground movement induced by mining with Fully-mechanized top-coal caving system under thick loose overlying strata
The parameters of ground movement induced by mining with fully-mechanized top-coal caving method under thick loose overlying strata, as well as the law governing the ground deformation under such condition all exhibit certain specific characteristics. In such cases, the pattern of the subsidence trough and the ground movement and dynamic deformation parameters are related to not only mining condition, but also thickness of loose overlying strata and thickness of bed rock.Based on the data actually observed at the ground movement observation stations set in Luan Mining Area, the paper presents an analysis of the characteristics of both static and dynamic ground deformation caused by mining under the above-mentioned conditions, and an inductive regression analysis of the ground movement prediction parameters and dynamic ground deformation parameters derived by using probability integration method. Finally, the functional relation between ground movement parameters and geological mining conditions is derived. The research-derived achievements are of a certain instructive significance for directing mining of thick coal seam under thick loose overlying strata beneath surface buildings, railways and water bodies, and for predicting ground movement in such cases.
