Approaches of mining under buildings, railways and water bodies based on the fuzzy AHP of multiple targets

Mining under buildings, railways and water bodies is a comprehensive technology which is involved in the surface environment, resources efficiently and high recovery ratio and related to economic and social problems. The mining influences interact with each other, even there is a reciprocal contradiction relationship. In order to take into account the resource recovery ratio and surface affected by mining, a fundamental target for surface mining minimal impact, most resource liberation and the optimal economic benefit is taken into account. The model to choose the reasonable approaches of mining with village relocation or take special mining technologies is given by using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP).Taking a coal mine that is planned to extract the coal seam beneath under villages as a prototype, a comparison of village relocation, strip mining, fully backfill mining, and mining coordinately with caving, backfilling and leaving coal pillar is made. And the part of coal seam extract approach beneath under the railway is determined.
