Deformation characteristics of clay minerals in soft rock roadway in Ronghua coal mine
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) were used to analyze the component of soft rock roadway of Ronghua Mine.The experimental results show that the rock is mainly composed of quartz, feldspar and clay minerals, including clay minerals I/S mixed layer than 46-96%, belonging to strong swelling soft rock roadway.Due to the different tunnel sections of the clay mineral content, result of deformation with different content of clay minerals and significant is different.The maximum deformation is 1.1 m in there months, and it is difficult to achieve stability.The experimental analysis of the SEM showed that, the specimens are a lot of I/S mixed layer structure.I/S mixed layer clay minerals and quartz, feldspar argillaceous cementing.Bedding around the low degree of cementation, lower strength.In the mudstone block, the internal particles are cemented and compacted, the porosity is lower and the strength is relatively high.The mechanism of clay mineral hydration is analyzed, and the characteristics of the deformation of clay minerals are long and fast, and the control method is suggested to avoid the phenomenon of water expansion.
