Model study on shallow-buried pipeline influenced by mining subsidence
The West-East gas pipeline passing through Haoyu coal mine had been affected by mining subsidence.A similar material model test based on the conditions of this mine is carried out to study the subsidence of the ground surface and also the shallow-buried pipeline.According to the model test, the subsidence of the pipeline and ground surface are similar and synchronous, while the subsidence value of the former is less than that of the latter.Removing the overburden upon the pipeline after exploitation can release the stresses in the pipeline that makes it rebound significantly and ameliorates its internal stress state.This study extends the application of similar material model test in research of shallow-buried pipeline under mining subsidence.In practice, our research can serve to guide the protection and maintenance of the pipeline.
