Width design and numerical simulation of ultra-sub critical extraction in Linnancang
Aiming at the strip mining of-650 levels No.2 mining area under the village in Linnancang mine, the RFPA numerical modeling methods was used to analyze the processing of strata movement and damage. On the conditions of medium-hard mutual stereotype strata structure and ultra-subcritical extraction, the steady arch balance structure is formed in overlying strata. The rock damaged and collapsed in the balanced arch while it had a bending deformation outside the balanced arch.According to the results of the numerical simulation, the scheme of ultra-subcritical extraction is designed in Linnancang mine, and the stability of the coal pillars is analyzed. The results of RFPA show that when the pillar widths achieve 70 m, it could isolate the two ultra-subcritical working faces into relative independent faces, the ground movement and deformation could be controlled effectively. This paper uses RFPA numerical simulation methods to design strata movement caused by ultra-subcritical extraction and analyses the ground damage.By the practical analysis, the reliability of the design for the coal pillar mining is confirmed, and the basis for mining design on the similar conditions is provided.
