Error estimation of polygon traverses by means of mathematical modeling methods

摘要：

　　This paper concentrates on the modeling of polygon traverses with the varying degrees of complexity in order to determine the probability of the traverse last point coordinates hitting within the outlines of the theoretical ellipses of mean-squared errors.The obtained by modeling methods hitting probability data make it possible to determine the field works methods and choose the necessary geodesic instruments to perform these works in advance at the traverse design stage.
