Result analysis of global ionosphere model in static GPS surveying
Static GPS survey is usually used in establishing and maintaining geodesy network, when applying precise ephemeris, troposphere and ionosphere detention is major deviation source to improve long baseline precision.Troposphere delay can be corrected by using relevant module, while ionosphere uses double or multiple frequency receivers to weaken errors, however, there are some commercial GPS post-processing software, allowing users to use model to modify errors when processing data. This paper is targeted at GPS survey network and studies the impact of global ionosphere model on long baseline. The data processing utilize CODE Global Ionosphere Model(GIM), including ionosphere vertical total electron component(VTEC) survey information, a sessions ranging from10 min to 6h, applying broadcasting ephemeris and precise ephemeris. All the facts have proven that the utilization of global ionosphere model can improve precision significantly, In contrast to its the impact of satellite orbit can be ignored.
