Research of Redundancy Line-protection of Smart Substation System
This article analyzes the necessity of setting up a new type of redundancy protection for transmission lines withonly single set of line-protection.By contrastive analysis of some present line protection schemes, the authors put forward a brand new redundancy line-protection solution.This new type of redundancy line-protection has a number of distinc tadvantage sincluding convenientrepair without power outage,simple operation and maintenance, high security and reliability,strong expandability and so on.It can be widely applied to bothpoint-to-pointmode andnetwork mode in smart substation system
