Analysis and Calculation of Short-circuit Current Contributed by Photovoltaic Generation

  With running out of fossil fuels gradually,photovoltaic generations have developed rapidly and been widely applied in recent years.Researches on modeling, control and steady-state output characteristics of converters is taken detailed and in depth.However, the transient output characteristics of the converter is still not very clear, of which the output current time characteristics has not yet obtained during transient process.present researches are focusing on principle of transient currents based on simulations which are lack of systemic and in-depth theoretical derivation.In this paper transient characteristic and influence of photovoltaic generation under non-metal unsymmetrical fault of grid are studied.Utilizing space vector method, state equations of inverter arc derived and simplified transient expressions of short-circuit currents of photovoltaic generation are proposed.Finally transient process and its features are analyzed which are further simulated in PSCAD.
