Application of Multiterminal Voltage Sourced Converter in Zhoushan Project
The outline of Zhoushan multi-terminal five-voltage sourced converters project in China is introduced in this paper.The operation and control of DC grid are demonstrated.All kinds of operation modes and conversion among operating modes are also described in this paper.Control and protection system are the brain of Zhoushan multi-terminal five-voltage sourced converters project,and it realizes the control, monitoring and protection to the entire system and all equipment.According to the function and the control goal, control of the every station is divided into system level control,converter station control and the valve control three levels.On the other hand, powerful redundant communication links among parts of control system are adopted in this project.
