Application Analysis and Improvement Measures of the Automatic Voltage Control System Based on the EMS Platform

  On the basis of the stability of the power system, the main function of the Automatic voltage control system (AVC) is to ensure voltage quality and reduce the line reactive power transmission as far as possible.The AVC system is designed integrated with the EMS platform, controlling model is accessed from the PAS network.The real time data is acquired from the SCADA and on-line analysis and calculation of power system is completed.Centralized monitoring, unified management and online control of the reactive power compensating device realize the closed-loop operation of the voltage reactive power optimization control.In the overall operating system, the application of AVC system is the highest stage of reactive power dispatch and it will provide important technical support for the regional power grid reactive power voltage operation.The AVC system of the regional power grid control the capacitor on 10kV bus in ll0kV and 35kV substation in centralized optimal mode.From the AVC system control strategy, the AVC action characteristics combined with the regional power grids unique connection and operation mode.The solutions and the technical measures aiming at the existing problems in the operation are given.
