Multi-objective Planning of Multi-type Distributed Generation Considering Correlations

This paper proposes a multi-objective planning of multi-type distributed generation (DG) considering correlations, taking the correlations and uncertainties of DG output into full account to build the locating and sizing model. In the proposed model, factors including line cost, grid loss, DG cost, fuel cost, environmental cost are taken into consideration, constructing the objective function of maximizing the net income of the distribution network with five subgoals which contain loss reduction, delaying line upgrade, environmental protection, saving fuels and life cycle cost (LCC) of DG.A Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method is appllied to simulate intermittent distributed generation (IDG) output and complementary scheduling discipline to controllable DG.On the basis, the improved adaptive genetic algorithm is adopted to solve the model. Finally, a practical case study is employed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method and model proposed on the IEEE14-node distribution network.
