Summary on Secure Operation Coordinate Control System for Intelligent Interactive Bulk Power System
As the large feed power system of ultra-high voltage direct current (UHV-DC) transmission, Jiangsu power grid is supposed to cater for the new normal with strong DC and weak AC, and be robust to the great DC power lose.However, the existing disposal of UHV-DC fault is found lacking.For example, it is difficult to diagnose the fault artificially, and control load in fine way.Therefore, it is significant to build and apply a secure operation coordinate control system for intelligent interactive bulk power system.In this paper, the online diagnosis of UHV-DC fault,automatic provision of optimal adjustment strategies for power system operation, and coordinate control strategies between power dispatching and marketing are analyzed and introduced.Specifically, the UHV-DC fault can be fully known timely by means of online diagnosis of block fault on DC lines, identification of fault patterns, fusion and real-time sharing of key post-fault information.Then, the optimal adjustment strategies of generators and load are provided automatically in terms of assistant decisions used for corrective control after block fault.In additions, some other control measures applied automatically,such as auto switch of automatic generation control (AGC)patterns, fast start up and shut down of pumped-storage generators, urgent load limitation by load control system and so on.Finally, the recovery control strategies are applied to bring the power system back to the normal operation.The developed system can reduce load lose dramatically in order to weaken negative influence on society, enhance the ability to pre-control UHV-DC fault, and promote the efficiency of fault disposal significantly.Moreover, this system can be well adapted to other UHV-DC transmissions, such as the Ximeng-Taizhou UHV-DC system under construction.The technologies and management of the developed system are propagable and can provide generalized and valuable experience for operation of large-scale interconnected power system.
