Realization and Application of RTDS~ Simulator for IEC 61850 Relays in China

摘要：

　　RTDS (real-time digital simulation) is a real-time digital electromagnetic transient simulator of power system.RTDS has been widely used in the world for many years as an important tool for functional and dynamic performance tests for protection relays.Currently, as IEC 61850 based intelligent electric device (IED)becomes more popular throughout the world, RTDS-GTNET card(communication card) was introduced in 2005 in order to provide the 61850-GOOSE and SV protocol communication capability.In2013, RTDS introduced GOOSE-V5 and Chinese-SV model to meet the closed-loop test requirements in China.
