　　As an essential part of smart grid, the demand for the smart substation communication has changed greatly with the access of SV, GOOSE, MMS, etc.This paper analyzes all sorts of communication business demand for smart substation, presents a design of a smart substation communication components with the awareness function of the power business.The device uses business identification and classification technology to realize network bandwidth and traffic dynamically intelligent control and schedule, and to provide different network service and guarantee important businesss operation perfectly for the SV, GOOSE,MMS business.
