Improvement to Conditional Reliability Coherency by Compromising Availabilities of Primary Equipments and Relay Protections
Reliability coherency for the transmission path with parallel lines is studied.The state probabilities of different available capacities are found considering unavailability of the electrical equipments and relay protections.3 coherency indices are defined, 2 for absolute (in) coherency, and 1 for conditional coherency with specified line loading.The latter is linearized to realize philosophy of compromising unavailability of the electrical equipments and the relay protections thus to improve reliability coherency.Numerical results are provided to validate feasibility and accuracy of the proposed model.
