Reliability Evaluation of Substation DC System

  The reliability of substation has aroused peoples concern due to some urban blackouts in recent years.This paper proposes the reliability model of substation dc system with different connection modes.Then, several reliability indices of substation dc system are evaluated by the proposed model solved with the minimal cut set method.Besides, the effect of switch configuration scheme on the reliability of the substation dc system is analyzed.The research in this paper has shown that the two batteries two chargers scheme is more reliable than the one battery one charger scheme and dc circuit breaker can improve the reliability of the substation dc system.
