Study on DC System Based on Intrinsic Safety Design
Aiming at the phenomenon that battery of DC system cant discharge normally, combining with the intrinsic safety design theory and power electronic technology, a kind of intrinsic safe DC system is researched and developed.This paper introduces the composition of DC system, and reasons of battery cannot discharge is analyzed.According to intrinsic safety design method such as improve components reliability, add standby system and limit energy or dispersed risk, without increase the quantity of battery, the original battery group in DC system is divided into 2~3 groups by using DC/DC converter to boost the voltage of divided battery group.So when the fault appears in one group or two, the system can also output stable DC voltage.The security and reliability of the system is discussed.Simulation results show that the intrinsic safe DC system realizes redundancy effect of battery to handle the problem of abnormal discharge of battery, greatly improving the reliability of DC system.
