C lassification of types and forms of the loess pseudokarst
Loess pseudokarst has developed very rapidly during the past decade and has caused extensive damage.Annually tens of thousands of hectares of valuable irrigated land become badlands due to the development of pseudokarst.The paper reports a classification of the types of loess pseudokarst depending on its genesis and an additional classification of pseudokarst landforms depending on the physical and chemical characteristics of loess.A brief description of loess types and landforms still poorly described in the literature is presented.
