RESEARCH ON LOCK HEAD STRUCTURE MONITORING USING FIBER OPTIC SENSING TECHNIQUE
In this paper, distributed measurements were carried out during the construction of a ship lock structure using fiber optic sensing technique.The hydration heat release process of concrete grouting in the lock head base plate was monitored based on FBG and ROTDR, the concrete and rebar strain changes of the lock head structure during the construction were monitored with BOTDR and FBG.Combined with the monitoring data, the stress/strain state changes in the interior of the lock head base plate under the concrete hydration heat release and loading.The research results are important significance on design, construction and maintenance of large hydraulic structures, and show the widely application of the distributed fiber optic sensing technique in monitoring of civil infrastructures.
