Study on Fiber optic monitoring technology for indoor simulation of surrounding rock deformation in deep mining conditions
The characteristic parameters of the development of surrounding rocks deformation and damage which are the key datum during safety production needs to be tested in the mining. In the article, the indoor similarity model with length 4000mm, width 400mm, and height 1445mm, is established in the lab, and multi group optical fiber sensors are laid in the similarity rock stratum of model.Using the BOTDA distributed optical strain gauging measuring technique with high precise spatial resolution, the strain state and characteristic of surrounding rocks under the influence of active mining in working face can be dynamically analyzed. The testing results indicate that the distributed optical monitoring technology can demonstrate the different strain tendencies according to the deformation process of surrounding rocks.Combining with the strain characteristics of different measuring points, the development height of caving and fissure zone of the overlying strata in the roof can be decided effectively. The distribution characteristics of optical strain test through laboratory simulation are consistent with the practical location of fracture development, and the method lays fundamental base for the mine detection applied research in the working face.
