Application of Magnetic Barkhausen Noise Test System in Hot Stamping

摘要：

　　Hot-stamped high strength steel (HSS) is widely used in body structure as a solution for weight-reduction of automobiles.In order to realize fast field measurement of mechanical properties of hot-stamped HSS parts, a magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) test system was developed.The system was used to measure hardness of hot-stamped bumper beam and strip with tailored properties.Results show good precision and convenience of the MBN method.
