Study on the Effect of Caustic Calcined Magnesite to Quality of Green-Pellets

  The caustic calcined magnesite is used as an additive to produce oxidized pellet.The metallurgical properties of green-pellet are investigated; it is mainly including compressive strength of green pellets (CSGP/N) and burst temperature of Green pellet (BT/℃).The results have shown that: the addition of caustic calcined magnesite can improve the quality of the green-pellets.With the caustic calcined magnesite content increases from 0% to 2.0% in pellets,the compressive strength of green pellets (CSGP/N)and burst temperature (BT/℃) of green pellets increase gradually; especially,the amplification of burst temperature(BT/℃) of green pellets is larger,which is up to 200℃.
