Problems and Countermeasures of Hydraulic Construction of Floodplain Areas in the Lower Yellow River

　　As a part of flood discharge channel and a settlement of people living along the river,floodplain areas in the lower Yellow River faces complex management issues,as well as the contradiction between how to make people rich and the Yellow River management.So it results in the poor living environment and backward economic development of floodplain areas,and is inconsistence with the construction of new socialist countryside.Therefore,much attention should be paid to how to strengthen hydraulic construction,how to change the poverty,and how to promote economic development of floodplain areas in the lower Yellow River.Based on analyzing the characteristics and problems of floodplain areas,the paper puts forward some countermeasures for strengthening hydraulic construction and promoting economic development of floodplain areas.
