Comparing Hydrological Effects of Treated and Untreated Watersheds at Experimental Scale

  Taking two typical tributaries in the Loess Plateau as ease,hydrological effects of treated and untreated watersheds were studied with parallel comparison method.Resuits show that soil and water conservation measures implemented can reduce annual runoff and sediment module,low down flood peak discharge and sediment concentration,lag occurring time of flood peak,and shorten flood duration.Although treated measures can change the relationships between runoff,sediment and rainfall,it has no significant effects on correlativity.
