Strategies of Water Resources Management for Response to Climate Change in Pollution Induced Water Shortage Areas
There is growing concern for water shortage due to climate change.With the socio-economic development,particularly in pollution induced water shortage areas,the water crisis is worsened.Xiaoshan-Shaoxing-Ningbo (XSN) Plain is typical pollution induced water shortage district,which lied on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay,Zhejiang Province.In the present study,XSN Plain is chosen as research areas.Firstly,the paper statistic XSN s meteorological,hydrological and environmental data in the past 50 years,with comprehensive summarization of former domestic and foreign researches.Secondly,modem mathematical statistical methods were applied with the trend of water resource by climate change.Study showed that,climate change impacted on the hydrological cycle,the redistribution of water resources on spatial-temporal and furtherly influenced on water quality.It also put forward to adapting strategies to solve the water crisis in pollution induced water shortage district by climate change,according to Zhejiang practical situation.
