Study on Runoff Trends of Key Hydrological Station in Typical Basins in China over the Past 60 Years

The decreasing of stream runoff, directly affects water resources planning, development, utilization and the development of industrial and agricultural and soci-economic.In order to study the trends of runoff in china, this study selected several typical basins in Yellow River,Huaihe River,Haihe River and Liaohe River, which are seriously affected by climate change and human activity in recent years.Based on the observed streamflow of 12 key hydrological control stations in the four selected basins for the past 60 years, this study employed the Spearman test, the Kendall test and the Mann-Kendall test to detected trends of annual runoff respectively. Results showed that annual runoff in the four selected basins has generally decreased during the periods, especially in Yellow River,Haihe River and Liaohe River, there are remarkable decreasing trends.
