Study of Integrated Methods for Assessing Urban River Region Ecosystem Services
Urban river relative region to city should be considered with ecosystem services assessment,because its services are very important during the growth of city.Integrated assessment method for urban river was established based on value evaluation methods of ecosystem services.It includes qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis and localization analysis.The integrated assessment was used in Harbin region of the Songhua River.Based on current situation survey,the ecosystem services are classified as production supply,adjustability,culture and support function.Qualitative assessment gives description of the river ecosystem services.Quantitative assessment gives the value of the river ecosystem services by using different methods.Localization assessment makes district divide by three levels.The first level includes production supply district,adjustability district,culture district and support district.The second level is divided considering different ecosystem services.The third level is divided according to the factors such as terrain,gradient,etc.It shows that ecosystem services of Harbin region of the Songhua River are integrated.The value of adjust function is the largest one.Its ecosystem services distribute in3 reaches,which are water body,exurban islands and urban islands.The value and localization of the ecosystem services of the river can help to develop moderately the nature resource of urban river and support to water ecological protection and restoration.
