Rapid Discrimination of Earth-rock Dams Stability under the Condition of Exceeding Standard Flood

摘要：

　　It s very important for flood control decision to make rapid discrimination of dam breach.However,there is no efficient discriminant method for earth-rock dam s stability under the condition of exceeding standard flood because of the complex structure of dams and too many uncertain factors.In this paper,a discriminant model was established based on discriminant method for earth-rock dam.It considered the material characteristics of dam body.The results demonstrate that the model is qualitatively reasonable and quantitatively right.The importance of factors were ranked from big to small as follow: catchment area,incipient frictional velocity,dam height,dam width and dam length.
