Analysis and Countermeasures on Usual Problems of Diversion Sluices in the Lower Yellow River
Sluice gate of water supply is important for water supply project in the lower Yellow River,they were mostly built in the 1970s and the 1980s,there have been some different levels of defects in many existent sluices.The defects have not only influenced the benefits of the sluices,have but also affected flood control safety,economic and ecological development along the lower reaches of the Yellow River.Objectively to evaluate situation of sluices and analyze dangerous situations by detection and identification of sluices have been carried out,in order to take the corresponding measures.For the sake of healthy running,analyzed more than 40 sluices safety appraisal result and counted the dangerous type and number of them,it is finally summarized that at present the main damage types of sluices are leakage,over running age of machinery equipment,uneven settlement,concrete disease,the instability of lock chamber and so on.Analyses of reasons of the defects are the programming and construction,due to dam heightening or channel change,aging,and management and running.Based on the above reasons,and proposed the corresponding countermeasure,such as faster updating equipment,strengthening routine observation of settlement displacement,improvement of identification and standardized operation,more frequency of security identification to some serious defects in many existent sluices,strengthening danger control and reinforcement and rebuilding investment and so on.
