Design and Performance Analysis of the Low-disturbing Sampling Equipment in Deepwater Reservoir

  In order to obtain low disturbance sediment samples,this paper introduces how to develop the low-disturbing sampling equipment in deepwater reservoir of which inner diameter is 90 mm and length is 10 m.According to the conditions of the field,the designing inclndes guiding device,triggering device,sampling device,counter weight and so on.Taking the lever mechanism,which is based on support force controlling trigger principle,it can fast insert the sediment under own weight to achieve low-disturbing sampling.This paper also describes how to analyze the sampling process,mechanical parameters and sediment conditions,analyze the sampling performance and disturbance of the sediment in tube.By taking an example of calculation about disturbance in the Sanmenxia Reservoir.The results show that,when the spherical cavity expansion radius is 2.5 mm,the final expansion pressure of sediment is 65.58 kPa.In undisturbed elastic region,sampling disturbance makes excess pore water pressure increase 0.018 kPa.The disturbed proportion of sediment sample is 15% in the sampling tube diameter direction.
