Research on Multi-source Data Integration Method in the Process of Building the Yellow River Remote Sensing Analysis System Based on 3S

  The data in the Yellow River remote sensing analysis system includes the paper topographic maps,bathymetric charts,estuaries map etc.geographic data,multitemporal multi-sensor and different resolutions remote sensing data,the Yellow River runoff and sediment load,section of the Yellow River Estuary,water depth,estuarine bar etc.hydrological observation data.To meet the needs of the system,we need integrate these three types of data,to achieve data format conversion and normalization.Before the data integration,need formulate data standards for integration content such as multiple size,the projection,attribution data etc..To be consistent with the local coordinate system and projection way of the system research area,this project adopts Dongying city local coordinate system,the central meridian longitude is east 118 °30.In order to meet the feature requirements of the system,need to stratify the data,conduct symbolic processing for incoming data according to one of the benchmark documents of the Digital Yellow River,the digital map schema (SZHH04-2003),and create an independent features symbols library.According to the integration standards,the integration process to the basis geographic data is: scan,registration,layered vectorization,attribution adding.Conduct Re-projection or geometric correction to remote sensing images,and pretreatment,and finally extract wetlands,rivers and coastline according to our needs.Hydrological data and river cross-section data should be edited in accordance with the format system needed.Data for scour analysis and kinetic studies which need consider about elevation changes,need to be normalized to data contains the 3D coordinates,using Surfer software.Coordinate system converted into a local coordinate system of Dongying City the system used,the last saved into shp format files.In order to get the data needed by the system,these data need to be edited several times collaboratively using Excel,Surfer,CASS,ArcMap and other software.In process of constructing Yellow River remote sensing analysis system based on 3S,according to the data requirements of the graphical information,space information and attributes information from system,these data are standardized and normalized integration.As it is found in long-term operation of this system,types of data obtained by this integration method can well satisfy the demand for this type of geographic information system.
