Application and Research of Digital Water Supply System (Pilot Project) in the Lower Yellow River
Accurate measurement of the lower Yellow River water quantity and meticulous management is important means to promote the water resources.The system is mainly composed three parts of automatic flow monitoring system,application of software system and operating environmental system.The automatic flow measurement system is the core content of the Digital Water Supply (DWS).Flow measurement is based on the flow velocity and water stage monitoring.At present we have chosen acoustic Doppler (HADCP) and dectromagnetic flow meter as the measuring instrument in the pilot project.With the aid of the lower Yellow River communication engineering,the system makes full use of the resources such as water dispatching,hydrologic measurement,water quality monitoring,flood control and drought relief.The data of water supply are collected,transmitted,stored and proceeded automatically and modernization.After several years application,we have received series of experience,and improve the system more perfect.h is necessary to sum up the experience and provide scientific basis next step of the system.
