Application of BP Artificial Neural Networks Model to Forecast Sediment Concentration of Longmen Station of the Yellow River
Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) is applied more and more in various fields as its powerful nonlinear processing capacity and the ability of serf-learning and selforganizing.This article built a BP network using the rate of sediment transportation and precipitation of areas of the middle and lower reaches of YR from Wubao Station (WBS)to Longmen Station (LMS).It is showed that the forecast precision of BP network is quite high and can be used for reference in engineering practice.
