An Application Case Study of the Yellow Rivers Flood Control and Drought Relief Network Platform

　　The report introduces Intemet/Intranet based Flood Control and Drought Relief Network Platform on the Yellow River,which is developed on the basis of current leading technologies such as java technology,intemet technology,report server and middleware technology.Basic frame of the system,logic structure and function configuration are provided,in addition,key technologies used in this system are investigated and discussed.According to the demands of the Yellow River Conservancy Commission and several military departments,the project accomplished constructing Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections between those users.It connects the flood control information between the Yellow River Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarter and related military area command.Meanwhile,it meets the demands of related military area command on flood control and ice jam flood control information,which can provide sufficient evidences on flood control and drought relief s dispatch.The result from practices suggested that the application could contribute to the Digital Flood Control Project by providing users with strong and reliable information support.
