Calculation of Pressurized-free Flow in Long Distance Water Conveyance Canal
The 1D unsteady open channel flow mathematical model was modified for pressurized-free flow in this paper with the slot method brought forward by Preissmann and the validation results coincide with the exiting studies.The design data on Zhengzhou Section 1 of South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Line Project are utilized for model application and the result shows that the shorter the gate closure time,the smaller the water level fluctuation range and the water level will be obviously reduced if the water release gate open synchronously with the regulation gate.
