Study on Carbon Lock-in in the Middle and Lower Yellow River Regions

摘要：

　　With the increasing development of industrialization and urbanization,the energy-environment-resources pressure appeared.It s necessary for the regions to change to low-carbon economy pattern.Based on the concept of carbon lock-in and 1995 ~2010energy consumption data,the regional characters about carbon emission pattern were studied.Carbon emissions per unit of GDP and per capita of the regions increased,Meanwhile,the evolution law of regional carbon emissions was also revealed by using Theil index.Then estimate whether the regions were in the carbon lock-in status or not.The results showed that the carbon emissions in the regions increased year by year,carbon emissions per unit of GDP was stable with a shght decline,carbon emissions per capita was rising.The difference of regional carbon emissions changed a lot,while that of regional carbon emission intensity decreased over time.So there is carbon lock-in in the middle and lower Yellow River.
