User experience and current practice for cybersecurity applications in DSAS
This special report reviews 7 papers submitted by authors from 6 countries as contributions to the Preferential Subject 1 of the 2015 SC B5 Colloquium – User experience and current practice for cybersecurity applications in the digital substation automation system (DSAS).The papers examine three cybersecurity themes related to the 1) threats addressed, 2) DSAS applications at risk, and 3) security mechanisms employed to protect the DSAS assets from attack that could interfere with, disrupt, or disable their operation. Fourteen questions are raised to facilitate a focused discussion on the subject after a brief summary of how each paper addressed the cybersecurity themes.
