The Torsional Stress Relay (TSR)’s Setting and its Coordination with other Systems in Tuoketuo Power Plant

  It is very important for users to understand the TSR’s principle,setting,its coordination with other systems,the verification and confirmation approaches for TSR’s setting rationality,however,it has been rarely reported.Users,even the TSR equipment manufactures know little about the above points and the properly application of TSR could be hindered.This paper briefly introduces the sub-synchronous resonance (SSR) problem in Tuoketuo power plant (TKT) and its solution,and introduces the TSR configuration design and implement-tation for the generating units in TKT in detail.It presents the coordination principle between the TSR and other systems such as SSR countermeasures,security and stability control system and so on.It is also analyzed and introduced the method,the way,the result of verification and confirmation for the effectiveness of TSR settings in TKT.Base on the experience in TKT project,the setting principle of TSR and its verification and confirmation method is proposed finally.
