Finite Element Analysis of Tellurite Microstructured Fibre

  In this paper,interactions of acoustic modes with optical modes are presented by using full vectorial finite element based approaches.Variations of the acoustic velocity and modal properties of the Uy 11 and R01 acoustic modes and that of the quasi-TE and quasi-TM optical modes are shown here for a Tellurite microstructured fibre.We have also presented the resulting SBS frequency shift and the overlap between the acoustic and optical modes for this waveguide.
