Experimental Demonstration of Mode-Division-Multiplexing and Time-Division-Multiplexing Passive Optical Network

　　We propose and experimentally demonstrate for the first time mode-division-multiplexing and time-division-multiplexing passive optical network (MDM-TDM-PON).Both upstream and downstream transmissions with two individual linearly polarized (LP) spatial modes are investigated.
